Smithfield – Teresa Rhodes Smith, age 51, passed away November 13, 2021 at her home in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County on January 14, 1970 to Arnold Rhodes and Helen Woodard Rhodes. She is preceded in death by her mother; husband, William Smith; grandmother, Nancy Rhodes.

She is survived by son, Johnathon Smith and wife Jazmin of Smithfield; daughter, Samantha Smith of Smithfield; father, Arnold Rhodes and wife Lavern of Smithfield; brother, Charles Lamm and wife Carol of Brogden; sisters, Marie Lewis of Brogden, Stephanie Roberts and husband Dave of Kitty Hawk; grandson, Johnathon William Smith; step grandchildren, Samuel and Isaac Lopez; sister-in-law, Lori Norris and husband Wade of Smithfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

No formal services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Smith was a loving mother, grandmother that was kind hearted.
