Smithfield – Shirley Arnold Lee, age 70, went home to be with the Lord December 19, 2022. She was born in Croydon England November 2, 1952 to the late Raymond Arnold and Nellie Smith Arnold. In addition to her father and mother, she is also preceded in death by sons, Jason Holloman and Joseph (Basher) Holloman.

A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Friday December 23, 2022 at 2 PM. Burial will follow the service in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Friday from 1 PM to 2 PM and other times at the home (1061 Packing Plant Rd. Smithfield, NC). Mrs. Lee is survived by husband, Marvin Simon Lee Jr. of the home; son, Darren Holloman of Garner; brother, Warren Arnold of England; grandchildren, Dustin Holloman, Whitney Holloman, Savannah Kelly; sisters in Christ, Rena Young, Diane Searcy, Diane Adams.

Mrs. Lee was a member at Temple City Church in Selma and enjoyed reading and studying the bible, reading Christian novels, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
