Sherwood Alexander Lewis, age 56, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home. Born July 6, 1965 in Canada he was the son of the late Vernon Paul and Doris Stephens Lewis. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Lewis; son, Tommy Kincaid; and paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ada Lewis.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home just prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, April Lewis; sons, LJ Lewis of Princeton, Tyler Lewis (Kalie) of Wilson, Chase Lewis (Caroline) of Wilson, Louis Porcelli (Heather) of Pikeville and Josh Spencer (Andrea) of Ohio; daughter, Casey White (Charleston) of Princeton; sisters, Kim Hill (Zipper) of Smithfield, Patty Wright of Canada and Teresa Beals of Indiana; grandchildren, Xander White, Anslee Kate White, Naveah Kincaid, Haven Lewis, Cali Lewis, Colton Lewis, Oliver Lewis, Sarah Lewis, Keleif Spencer, Azaria Spencer, Jor-el Spencer and Charlie Spencer; nephews, Samuel Hill, Jody Hill and Jason Hill; nieces, JoAnna Hill, Brinley Hill, Kay-Lynn Peedin and Shyann Peedin; and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Parrish Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
