Ronald Lee Coe Jr. "Pete" passed away, Sunday, July 17 ^th 2022 with his loving wife (bride) of 62 years by his side.  Born September 23, 1934 at home to Ronald Lee Coe Sr. & Sudie Coe in Durham, NC.

Pete is survived by his wife, Jean Massengill Coe of Smithfield, son Ronald Keith Coe of Four Oaks, NC; Grandsons, Bryan Lee Coe, Bailey Reaves Coe and his wife Samantha Casey Coe, Special Daughter, Lisa Fay Langston, Daughter N Law, Rhonda Reaves Coe, Sister Fay Coe Langston, Brother, Norman Douglas Coe, numerous nieces and nephews as well as his lifelong friends, Billy and Janice Fowler.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald & Sudie Coe and sister Linda Lou Coe.

Pete served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserves, for 8 years earning the rank of Corporal.  He grew up working at his family sandwich and bakery business; Fay's Sandwich Co. eventually becoming owner/manager along with his siblings, Norman and Fay.  He attended Corinth United Methodist Church in Four Oaks and proudly held several offices within the Church.  Pete was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone; known for his generous heart and love.  When his son Keith was growing up, Keith's neighborhood friends would come to his home knocking on the door and asking if Mr. Pete could come out and play.  Mr. Pete was the neighborhood pitcher and quarterback for his son's neighborhood friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Corinth United Methodist Church, Four Oaks, NC at 11am.  The family will receive family and friends briefly after the graveside service.  Memorial donations may be sent to Smithfield Rescue Mission, 523 Glenn St., Smithfield, NC 27577, Corinth United Methodist Church, c/o Beverly Gibson, 1286 D Thompson Rd., Four Oaks, NC 27524 or a Charity of your choosing.
