CLAYTON – Robin Yvonne Coats Gibbs, age 63, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the SECU Hospice House.  Born February 13, 1956 in Johnston County, she was a daughter of Nancy Faye Lee of Smithfield and the late Ralph Lee Rose. Robin was preceded in death by her first husband Gary Young and preceded in death by her canine companion, Nina, and feline companion, Shadow.  She was a member of Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Bruton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 just prior to the service.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are son, Jason Ray of Clayton; sister, Sharon Coats Bratton of Wilmington; and her Shih Tzu, Zoey.
