Smithfield – Nancy Lee Narron Gordon, age 86, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. She was born on March 7, 1934, a daughter of the late Aaron and Ethel S. Narron, in Johnston County. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Franklin Narron, Edsel Narron, and Onvis Narron, sisters, Georgia Stallings, and Betty Whitley, and grand-dog Gumby. She was a member of Wilson's Mills Baptist Church. Nancy worked for 25 years with the North Carolina Department of Revenue before she retired. She was known for her love of quilting, sewing, crocheting, cross stitching, baking, and flower gardening. She was a loving wife for 65 years to Mr. Charles Gordon and a loving mother to her son Wayne Gordon.

A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Selma Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Mr. Charles Alfred Gordon, son, Charles Wayne Gordon and friend, Pam Gibson, of Smithfield, brother, Alonza Narron, sisters, Francis Johnson, Louise Gordon, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wilson's Mills Baptist Church at 652 Swift Creek Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.

The family ask that all attendees wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
