Michael Jepp Bridges, Jr., age 49, of Smithfield, passed away at his home on September 11, 2019.  Born in Lee County on June 27, 1970, he was the son of Janice Lingafelt Beach of Newland and the late Michael Jepp Bridges, Sr..  Michael graduated from UNC Wilmington in 1992 and was a credit manager with Regional Acceptance.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Surviving are his wife, Renn Roznos Bridges; his mother and step-father, Janice and Cecil Beach of Newland; his maternal grandmother, Aileen Lingafelt of Morganton; a step-brother, John Cecil Beach and wife Sonia of Newland; and a step-sister, Rhonda Buchanan and husband Neil of Morganton.
