Matthew Ray "Bigun" Wiggs, age 44, died Sunday morning in UNC Johnston Health of Smithfield.  Born August 30, 1977 in Portsmouth, VA to John Steven Wiggs and Brenda Faye Mosley Coker, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Coker.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm just prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Tammi L. Wiggs; sons, Joshua Alan Jackson of Princeton and Jordan Austin Wiggs and Dillian Matthew Wiggs both of Pikeville; daughter, Savannah Paige Denice Jackson of Clinton; mother, Brenda Coker and husband Bennie of Smithfield; father, Steve Wiggs and wife Jetta of Denmark; brothers, John Gabriel Wiggs and wife Dawn of Arizona, James Thomas Wiggs of Selma, Gary Forbes, Jr. and wife Robyn of Texas and Gabriel Ethan Rivera of Smithfield; sisters, Crystal Faye Brannan and husband Eric of Pine Level and (Soul Sister) Lori Faircloth of Jacksonville; six nephews and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
