SMITHFIELD – Mac Arthur Lewis, age 76, died Saturday afternoon in Rex Hospital Raleigh.  Born September 10, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Vernon Paul and Ada Tyner Lewis he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Lewis on January 26, 2011.  He attended Tee's Chapel Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.  Burial will follow in the Worley Family Cemetery near Princeton.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.

Surviving are his sons, Scotty Lewis and wife Jean of Smithfield and Eddie Lewis and wife Melissa of Rockingham; sister, Cathy Greene and husband Donnie of Smithfield; three grandchildren, Amber Woodall, Amy Allen and husband Ray and Destiny Lewis and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Allen and Mollie Allen.
