Smithfield – Lloyd Jennings Rice, age 73, died early Friday morning, June 5, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Born August 2, 1946 in Brockton, MA he was a son of the late Lloyd Jennings and Esther Kersey Rice. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Rice, Ronald Rice, and Gary Rice.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia Rice; children, Valorie Nance and husband Douglas of Clayton, NC, Lloyd Rice, III and fiancée Lakeesha Fulton of Yarmouth, MA, and Christopher Rice and wife Ashley of Suwanee, GA; brother, Wayne Rice and wife Josephine of South Dennis, MA; grandchildren, Larissa Herbert, Katrice Shorter, Dazira Fulton, DeAndre Rice, Deysia Rice, Bella Rice, and Meadow Rice; and great grandchildren, Kylee Sturdivent and Kennadi Sturdivent.
