Leonard Earl "Bud" Stallings, age 78, died Monday night, February 1, 2021 at his home. Born January 12, 1943 he was a son of the late James Bruce "Tom" and Leona Vick Deaver Stallings. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Bruce Stallings. Bud was a member of Yelverton Grove OFWB Church in Smithfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Yelverton Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday just prior to the service.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Stallings; daughter, Joanna Crumpler and husband Stephen Michael Crumpler, Jr. of Smithfield; brother, Harold Douglas "Pete" Stallings of Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Lynda Stallings, Wanda Pilkington and husband Wayne, and Patricia Brown and husband Virgil; grandchildren, Lauren Crumpler and Adam Crumpler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
