Katie F. Campbell, 69, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Carteret Health Care.

A celebration of Katie's life will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm with a brief service at the Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Katie was born on November 25, 1950, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to the late Herbert and Ruth Campbell. Her skill and kindness were both exemplified in her profession as a License Practical Nurse.

She is survived by her companion, Robin Moyer of Smyrna; sons, Garland E. Booth and wife Tina of Selma, Christopher W. Ely of Smithfield and Cody W. Finch of Troutville, VA; brother, Herbert A. Campbell of California; grandchildren, Cameron L. Booth, Emma M. Booth, Connor A. Booth, Andrew I. Ely, Kaitlyn F. Ely, Caleb G. Ely, Tamara Carver, Geoffrey Watkins and Jackson Watkins; great-grandchildren, Tessa Carver, Alice Booth and Aurora Ely; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Carteret County Humane Society at 853 Hibbs Rd., Newport, NC 28570.
