Katherine Michelle Wilkins, age 28, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Born in Harnett county on March 25, 1994, she was a daughter to the late Anthony Ray Wilkins and her mother, Sarah Elizabeth Wilkins of Smithfield.

Katherine was known to be a bright light full of so much love and was very generous, always giving of herself to others. She was an amazing mother to her children, and loved them more than anything. She was lovingly known as "mama bear" and would do anything to care for and protect her own. Katherine was a fighter with a strong spirit that others always admired.

A visitation will be held in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 5-7:00 p.m.

She is survived by her children, Isabela Montero; Sofia Montero; Lezli Montero; Anthony Rosales; Abel Montero Jr.; mother, Sarah Elizabeth Wilkins of Smithfield; sister, Amber Wilkins of Smithfield; the father of her children, Abel Montero of Queen City, TX; nephews, Julian Montero; Leonardo Montero; Santiago Wilkins; and nieces, Ariella Soto, and Teresa Soto.
