Smithfield – Josephine "Joie" Tumminia Steadman, age 67, died Tuesday evening March 9, 2021 at her home. Born February 28, 1954 in Elizabeth, NJ she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Matilda Genovese Tumminia. Everyone who knew Joie knew her as a free spirit who loved the ocean.

Surviving are her sons, Edward Domingo of NJ, Matthew Domingo of NJ, James Steadman of NC, Daniel Steadman of NJ, and Patrick Steadman of NC; brother, Gino Tumminia; sister, Anna Marie Pudlak; and grandchildren, Leah Domingo, Macy Domingo, Jayden Domingo, Nicholas Domingo, Matthew Domingo, Michael Domingo, Jacob Burrows, Jesse Burrows, Emily Steadman, Ella Steadman, Emma Steadman, Logan Steadman, Carmine Steadman, Mia Steadman, Penelope Steadman, and Oliver Steadman.
