Jane Roberts Thompson, age 73, died Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home. Born September 22, 1947 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late George Gaston and Eula Baker Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raeford "Ray Boy" Thompson; brother, Frank Roberts; and sister, Evelyn Osmond. Jane was a long time member of Yelverton Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

A private family burial will be conducted on Friday, April 2, 2021 in Yelverton Grove FWB Church Cemetery.

Surviving are her son, Chad Thompson and wife Mandi of Smithfield; daughter, Angie Leary and husband Nicky of Wilmington; brother, William "Bill" Roberts of Four Oaks; sister, Susie Johnson of Selma; and grandchildren, Madison Leary, Gracie Thompson, and Turner Thompson.
