Jackie Massengill Daughtry, age 74, of Smithfield, passed away on November 17, 2021.  Born in Johnston County on September 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Talmadge and Lula Massengill.  She was preceded in death by her husband Malcom Daughtry and her brother Charles Massengill.  Jackie was retired from the Social Security Administration and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in Sardis Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.

Surviving are her son, Bryan Daughtry and wife Dee Dee of Smithfield; grandchildren, Bryan Russell Daughtry, Jr. and wife Melisa, Owen Rex Daughtry and Michael Arron Daughtry; one great grandchild; two great great grandchildren, her sister, Janie Best and husband Steve; and sister-in-law, Frances Massengill.

The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma on Friday from 6 to 8 pm and other times at the home of Bryan and Dee Dee Daughtry.
