Selma – Iva Mae Brown Lee, age 92, passed away Thursday January 21, 2021 at the Brian Center in Clayton. She was born in Johnston County on November 25, 1928 to the late Arthur Millard and Pearl Brown. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Arthur O'Neal; sisters, Creta Carroll, Ruby Phillips; brothers, J.T and Harold Brown; grandsons, Mark Sullivan and Will O'Neal; special friend, Ed Hodges. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday January 24, 2021 at 2 PM in Brown Family Cemetery. Visitors and friends may pay their respects  on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 930 AM to 5 PM at Parrish Funeral Home, where the family will not be present. Mrs. Lee is survived by son, Jimmy O'Neal and wife Donna of Selma; Daughter, Donna Wood of Selma; sisters, Nell Turnage of Smithfield, Lois Peterson of Smithfield, Jean Pate of Micro, Emma Davis of Brogden; grandchildren, Dawn O'Neal, Josh O'Neal and wife Michele, Frank Sullivan and wife Tasha, Brian Sullivan and wife Christy, Jason O'Neal; great grandchildren, Thomas O'Neal II, Kayla Shoulars, Cameron O'Neal, Alexas O'Neal, Payton O'Neal, EmmaLee O'Neal; step grandchildren, Nicole Kopp and husband Chris, Amanda Cash, Michael Strickland, Will Strickland, Carson Corbett, Lynn Branson; great grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Sullivan, Travis Sullivan, Cooper Sullivan, Rylan Mark Sullivan, Kinsley Sullivan; step grandchildren, Nathan Cox, Dylan Kopp, Violet Kopp; great great grandchildren, Carson Porter, Grayson Shoulars, Leighton Shoulars; Mrs. Lee was a member at Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She also volunteered for hospice many years. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Community Hospice & Palliative Care, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
