Kenly – Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Massey, age 82, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2023, in UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was the son of the late Charles Patrick Massey and Lela Mae Ingram. He was a loving husband and father. He also served his Country in the United States Army and then was a professional truck driver for sixty-two years.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 6:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Trudie S. Massey and son Kuther Gerald Massey of Kenly.
