Georgia Lewis Langley, age 102, passed away Wednesday evening, January 5, 2022 in WakeMed in Raleigh. Born November 29, 1919 in Wayne County she was a daughter of the late Stephen H. and Minnie Best Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Langley; son, Robert Gene Langley; granddaughter, Joy Rast; brothers, Pete, Milford, David, and Junior Lewis; and sisters, Ruth Waddell and Irene Howell. Ms. Georgia was a longtime member of Rains Crossroads FWB Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Sullivan and Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service at the funeral home.

Surviving are her son, Danny R. Langley and wife Donna of Princeton; daughter, Panda L. Crocker and husband Sheryle of Smithfield; daughter-in-law, Bobbie Langley of Princeton; grandchildren, Jeannine Walker, Ken Crocker, Bryan Langley, and Sherry Gray; and eight great grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere love and appreciation to the many friends and neighbors  for their love and support. A special thank you to Jeannine and Kayla for their care over the years.
