Smithfield- George Allen Sellers, age 86, passed away on April 6, 2022 at Brian Center Nursing Home in Clayton. Born in Alexandria Virginia on March 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Frank Roach and Alice Day Roach.

A memorial service will be held at Pisgah Baptist church in Smithfield on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

In addition to his parents, George is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Richards Sellers, and sister, Hazel Finchum.

Surviving are his sons, Robert Lee Sellers and wife Kathy of Kenly, NC; Gregory Allen Sellers Sr. and wife Tammy of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Kelly Johnson and husband Steve of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren, Crystal Sellers, Tiffany Allen, Amanda Sellers, Raymond Sellers, Vincent Sellers, Gregory Sellers Jr., Stephanie Johnson, Cody Johnson, and 16 great grandchildren.
