Frances Stevens Hall, age 94, died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Born July 15, 1927 in Forsyth County to the late John William and Rosa Ridings Stevens, she was the widow of Charles Gray Hall.  She attended the First Christian Church in Smithfield and had worked at Smithfield City Florist for many years.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Beth Burton Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Surviving are her sons, Steven Gray Hall and his wife, Elizabeth of New Bern and Charles Mark Hall and his wife, Susan of Selma; daughters, Jane Elizabeth Schirmer of Jacksonville and Cheryl Marie Hall of Haltom City, TX; seven grandchildren, Karen Allen, Scott Hall, Katherine Conway, Anna Barefoot, Gaylin Fitz, Devon Azar and Kelley Parron and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Public Library of Johnston County and Smithfield or First Christian Church of Smithfield, 1001 S Crescent Dr, Smithfield, NC 27577.
