Eutimio "Tony" Rodriguez, age 69, passed away at his home in Smithfield on Saturday, December 24, 2022. Born in Lobera, Mexico, on October 6, 1953, he was a son of the late Ascencion Rodriguez and Monica Raza.

Tony was the best Papa anyone could ask for. He always put his family before himself without a second thought. He loved to bring joy to others and put a smile on their face. Before ending a phone call or parting ways, he always told his family, "I love you." He was a huge animal lover and frequently donated to the ASPCA. He loved his fur babies
very much. As a man of many talents, Tony worked in the construction and contracting industries for most of his career. He learned many trades, as well as how to operate various equipment, and was skilled with projects and repairs. Tony was a very loyal, hardworking, respectful man. He was very appreciative of his opportunities in this country, with deep respect for the United States of America and its government. He worked for one family for 37 years and was an integral part of personal and business projects. Tony was extremely trustworthy, very positive, never complained about anything that was asked of him, and always tried to keep a sense of humor no matter the circumstances. Tony was truly loved and respected by those he worked for.

A graveside service will be held at Erwin Cemetery on January 7th, 2023, at 11 am.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Jackson Rodriguez, and stepson, Earl Linwood Tyndall.

Tony is survived by his grandson, Linwood Tyndall, and wife, Crystal of Greenville; great-granddaughter, Bailey Tyndall; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
