Smithfield – Edith Gray Abbott Fisher, age 66, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home. Born October 17, 1954 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Sophia Aycock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Fisher; brothers, Jesse Aycock, Alfred Aycock, Preston Aycock and Rayford Aycock; sisters, Myrtle Ballard and Ethel Gady.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening just prior to the service.

Surviving are her sons, Chad Abbott of Selma and Travis Abbott and wife Aimee of Falkville, AL; daughter, Elizabeth Edwards and husband Phillip of Smithfield; brother, Roy Aycock; sisters, Flossie Evans, Audrey Taylor and Nancy Oakley; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
