Selma – Diane Core Sullivan, age 75 passed away Saturday June 12, 2021 at her daughters' home in Pine Level. She was born in Johnston County on March 8, 1946 to the late William "Bill" Core and Lucille Barnes Core. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by late husband, James Edward "Ed" Sullivan; brother, Reginald Core. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Thursday June 17, 2021 at 2 PM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Thursday from 1 PM to 2 PM. Burial will follow the service at Bizzell Grove Church Cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by daughter, Karen Sullivan of Pine Level; son, Brian Sullivan of Pine Level; brothers, Sherwood Core of McGee's crossroads and Robin Core of Four Oaks; sister, Debbie Smith of Smithfield; great nieces and nephews, Taylor Chambliss, Josh Capps and Jeremiah Capps; cousin, Hope Raynor. Mrs. Sullivan loved to talk on the phone with friends and family and to help others when possible. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to American Diabetes Association P.O.
