Selma- Colleen Noretha Deans Smith, age 91, died Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her home. Born August 27, 1929 in Wilson County she was a daughter of the late Provert and Ella Davis Deans. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Smith; sister, Rosa Lee Medlin; and brother, Boss Deans. Colleen was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Shoeheel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 with Rev. Danny Creech officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Surviving are her sons, David Smith, Jr. of Smithfield and Randy Smith and wife Laura Kimberly Smith of Selma; sisters, Louise Johnson of Kenly and Sue Jones of Selma; grandchildren, Christina Parker and Dillon Smith; step grandchildren, Amanda Runninger and Brittney French; four great grandchildren; and eight step great grandchildren.
