SMITHFIELD – Colleen Preziosi Pope, age 69, died Monday evening at her home.  Born December 4, 1951 in Newark, NJ to the late Andrew John and Anne Rita Stone Preziosi, she was the widow of William Phillip Pope and was preceded in death by a brother, John Joseph Cunningham, III.  Colleen loved to volunteer, and did so at Johnston Health in Smithfield, Meals on Wheels in Selma and Temple Baptist Church in Selma where she was a member.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Raven officiating.

Surviving are her son, Andrew Phillip Pope of Selma; brother, Andrew John Preziosi, Jr. of Stuart, FL; sister, Elizabeth Anne Edwards of Angier; sister-in-law, Jo Ellen McKenzie of Smithfield; nieces, Nolene Barnette of Clayton, Beth Edwards of Angier and Leigh McKenzie-Lee of Smithfield; nephew, Will McKenzie of Smithfield and a great nephew, Grayson Corbett-Edwards of Angier.
