Brenda Phillips Barber, age 63, of Princeton, died Tuesday August 31, 2010 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born on January 12, 1947 in Johnston County she was the daughter of the late James Raeford Phillips Jr. and Drusie Lee Deans Phillips. A member of Fellowship United Methodist Church she was a member of the Pastor Parrish Relations Committee and the Women's Group. Funeral Services will be on Friday at 2:00pm at Fellowship United Methodist Church with Rev. James Huskins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Princeton from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday night.Mrs. Barber is survived by a son: Tommy Woodard and wife Paula of Kenly: two daughters, Susan Marshburn and husband Grady of Clayton, and Cindy Capritta and husband Dan of Princeton: two step children, Dr. Joseph G. Barber and Crystal Barber both of Princeton: one brother, Jim Phillips of Asheboro: two sisters, JoAnn Capps of Princeton and Jean Campbell of Morganton: four grandchildren, Cameron Woodard, Sarah Capritta, Kayla Marshburn, and Jessica Capritta: and two step grandchildren, Caleb Barber and Makenzie Creech.
