Billy Franklin Johnson, age 80, died Wednesday morning in WakeMed of Raleigh.  Born April 25, 1941 in Johnston County to the late William Albert and Rosa Hicks Johnson, he was preceded in death by brothers, Clifton Johnson and Leon Johnson; sister, Vernise Edwards and grandsons, Zachary Satterfield and Jason Satterfield.  Billy owned and operated B.J.'s Body Shop at his home for more than 40 years.  He attended Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church near Selma.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Selma Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Eric Narron officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Parrish Funeral Home from 1:00 – 2:30 pm just prior to the service.

Surviving are his daughters, Vicky J. Satterfield and husband Howard of Clayton, Teresa J. White and husband Stan of Smithfield and Debra J. Lynch and husband William of Kenly; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Linda E. Johnson of Clayton; sister, Louise J. Renfrow of Kenly; sister-in-law, Mary Belle Johnson of Kenly; two grandsons, Andrew White and his wife Cinthya of Raleigh and Benjamin White and his wife Sarah of Princeton; great-grandson, Henry White of Princeton; great-granddaughter, Lillian White of Princeton and several special nieces and nephews.

The Lord, family, home and friends were his greatest loves of life.  He was greatly loved and will be missed by all that knew him.
