Billie Cheek Cretini, born August 6, 1926, released her soul to our loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She is being reunited with her husband, A. S. 'Corky' Cretini and her family and friends who have gone before her.

Left to cherish Billie's memory are her daughter, Debra Cretini Sanders (Don), her grandchildren, Adam W. Stancil (Allison), Cretini S. McCall (Marshall) and great granddaughter Avery B. McCall.

There will be a visitation and celebration of her life Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 202 South 4 ^th Street, Smithfield, NC 27577. The visitation will be from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Ryberg Hall, First Baptist Church, and the Celebration of Life in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church. The family will have a private burial following the Celebration of Life at Riverside Cemetery, Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that memorial contributions be made in her name to First Baptist Church, PO Box 209, Smithfield, NC 27577 or to Community Home Care and Hospice, 208 Butternut Lane, Clayton, NC 27520.

The family would like to thank caregivers Sheryl Willard, Pam Kirby, the Nurses and CNA's from Community Home Care and Hospice for the love and compassion shown Ms. Billie and the family.
