Betty Carol Jones McFatter Grice, age 84, of Smithfield, passed away on December 16, 2020.  Born in Wake County on January 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Betty Jane Bivens Jones.  Mrs. Grice was a member of New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church.

A graveside memorial service will be held on January 23 at 2:00 PM in the cemetery at New Jerusalem FWB Church with Rev. Jasper Renfrow officiating.

Surviving are her daughter, Genoveva Walker; sister, Helen Morris; grandchildren, Needham Parrish, Jr., Jamie Bienvenu, Justin Cornish; and nieces and nephews, Yvette Sherman, Joyce Digulielmo, Tammy Allen, Jackie McCumber, Evely Sangiancoma, Doug Berger, Wayne Knott(Evelyn) and Stephen Pilar.

The family requests that everyone in attendance wear a mask.
