Smithfield – Alvin Ramson "Spud" Peedin, age 80, died Thursday, December 19, 2019 in SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born December 24, 1938 in Johnston County he was a son of the late James A. and Mary Hamilton Peedin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hunt officiating.
Surviving are his ex-wife and caregiver, Frances Brown; brother, James Howard Peedin of Selma; one niece; and two nephews.
