Smithfield"Miguel Galindo-Casas, 80, of 151 Hawk's Nest in Smithfield, died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center. Born on September 25, 1926 in Santa Clara, Mexico, he was the son of Catalina Casas and the late Agustin Galindo. A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, with Father Scott McCue officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Underwood Funeral Home from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday, December, 26, 2006, with a rosary service at approximately 7:30 PM.Surviving are: sons, Sigifredo Galindo, Miguel Galindo, Juventino Galindo, all of Smithfield, Raul Galindo of Colorado; daughters, Eglantina Gomez, Gloria Garcia, Maria C. Duenas, all of California, Yadira Sanchez of Smithfield, Yuridia and Leticia Galindo of Mexico; mother, Catalina Galindo of Mexico; brothers, Edgardo Galindo, Leodegario Galindo, Heriberto Galindo, Agustin Galindo, Javier Galindo, all of Mexico; sisters, Maria Fe Galindo, Clara Galindo, Lilia Galindo, all of Mexico; 21 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
