Thomas Jeryl "Jerry" Brown, age 57, of Debro Road near Kenly, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Born in Johnston County on May 3, 1953, he was the son of Jewel Price Brown of Kenly and the late Thomas Cecil Brown. A memorial service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Daniel Arant officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.Surviving, in addition to his mother are two sons, Bryan Brown and wife Laurie of Selma, Ryan Brown and wife Darlene of Zebulon; sisters, Wanda Hodges of Selma and Susan Kimbrough of Clayton; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society-Johnston County, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834; the American Heart Association, 3131 RDU Center Dr., Morrisville, NC 27560; or the Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, 8980 Old Beulah Rd., Kenly, NC 27542.
