Selma- Patsy Hines Bonk, age 72, died March 7, 2012 in Smithfield Manor. Born November 17, 1939 she was the daughter to the late Robert Daniel and Minnie Sasser Hines. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bryant, Donnie, and Frank Hines; a sister, Josephine Hines; and a nephew, Linwood Pilkington. Ms. Bonk worked at Sue Lane Group Home as a caregiver for many years, was CPR certified, and was a member of Salvation Army Church for over 15 years.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Eason officiating. Burial will follow in the Selma Memorial Gardens.Surviving are her son, Michael "Eddy" Holt of Selma; brothers, Ronnie Hines of Pine Level, and Billy Hines of Selma; sisters, Gertrude Raynor of Princeton, Betty Lou Maguire of Byrdstown, TN, Mary "Tempie" Pilkington of Selma, Faye Brown of Smithfield, and Linda Kay Pearce of Selma; two grandsons, Michael and Josh Holt; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
