MICRO - Annette Pittman Blalock Cobb, age 61, died Thursday morning, March 21, 2013 in WakeMed of Raleigh. Born September 9, 1951 in Johnston County to the late Carl Anderson and Myrtie Johnson Pittman, she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny K. Pittman. She was a member of the Capital Church in Garner, but has been attending the Wilson's Mills Christian Church.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Hepting and the Rev. Lea Slaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Micro Memorial Gardens near the old Oak Grove Inn.Surviving are her son, Jeffrey Marvin Blalock of LaGrange; daughters, Christie B. Searles and husband Chris of Four Oaks, Karen F. Blalock and fianc?, Gregory Shane Helms of Smithfield and Pamela B. Wood and husband Chris of Selma; brothers, Carl Pittman, Jr. and Merrell Pittman both of Kenly; sister, Linda Ramsey of Smithfield and eight grandchildren, Anna Creech, Morgan Durham, Cameron Wood, Amanda Creech, Ayden Searles, Braelyn Searles, Braxton Motley and Sebastian Helms.The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. just prior to the service and at other times at the home of her daughter Pamela Wood, 1296 Branch Chapel Church Road, Selma, NC 27576.
