PRINCETON – Ruby Cole Barbour, age 94, died Tuesday afternoon at her home.  Born December 5, 1921 in Johnston County to the late Thesly Alison "TA" and Julia Brown Cole, she was the widow of Roland Holt Barbour and was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Frances "Fran" Parker.

Ruby was a long-time member of the Princeton Baptist Church where she played the piano and the organ for many years.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 11, 2016 in the church fellowship hall from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating.  A burial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Princeton Cemetery.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna Langley and husband Danny of Princeton; sister, Helen Pierce of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Bryan Langley and wife Kim and Regina Ezzell; great grandchildren, Heather Gaines and husband Mitch and Bryan Langley, Jr. and a special niece Joyce Corbett.
