Zeb Adams Jr., 86 of Pine Level, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 7:26 p.m. at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, following a brief illness. Mr. Adams was employed with Williams Realty and Building Company, Raleigh, NC as a carpenter for more than twenty (20) years.

Mr. Adams is predeceased by his wife, Shirley Marlow Adams;  siblings;  Ann Lancaster, Ruth McMahon, Inez Raynor, Mary Pittman, J. L Adams, W. D. Adams, Clifton Adams. In addition to his siblings, he is predeceased by his parents, Zeb Adams and Elizabeth Adams and daughter, Norma Jean Adcock.

Mr. Adams is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Laverne Capps (Bruce), Selma, NC, son, James R. Adcock, Jr. (Linda), Pine Level, NC;  brother, Billy Adams (Linda), Selma, NC, sister  Maude Daughtry, Selma, NC; grandchildren, Brittany Adcock, Garner, NC,  Norman "Pete" Turner, Wilson, NC and several nieces and nephews.

After his retirement, Mr. Adams enjoyed woodworking and making ink pens on his Lathe.  Mr. Adams' greatest love was his family and fishing at Surf City. Breakfast was his favorite meal, so McDonald's it was, every morning.

Visitation will be held at Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S. Pollock Street, Selma, NC on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Graveside service will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens, Selma, NC officiated by Pastor Kevin Hinton and all other times at 124 Pine South Drive, Selma, NC, 27576.
