Kenly – Priscilla Yvonne Godwin Narron, age 81, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born, January 21, 1944, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of Mattie Kathleen Godwin. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Larry Narron, son, Tracey Narron and sister, Janice Bailey Barfield. Yvonne was a hardworking business woman. She valued hard work and instilled that in her children and grandchildren. She had a love for the dogs that she bred and sold, including Yorkies and Poodles. Yvonne also loved flowers and the comfort of her home. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Bland. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

She is survive by her son, Travis Narron (Kim) of Kenly, daughter, Tina Narron Watson (Tracy) of Kenly, daughter-in-law, Tonia Narron of Princeton, brothers; Larry Godwin (Melanie) of Emerald Isle, Tommy Johnson of Kenly, sister, Mary Lou Hawley of Kenly, grandchildren; Manley Narron, Kaylen Watson, Mindy Narron, Taylor Werner, Charity Watson, Alexis Boyette, great-grandchildren; Remington Narron, Lydia Jackson, Easton White, Jordan Jackson, Finley Boyette, Gatlin White, Adaline Jackson, Bellamy Jackson and July White, as well as many nieces & nephews.
