Smithfield – William Arthur Wells Sr., age 69 passed away Tuesday March 17, 2020. He was born in Johnston County July 3, 1950 to the late James and Emma Hood Wells. In addition to his parents Mr. Wells is also preceded in death by brothers, Benny and Jessie Wells; Sisters, Marry Hayes, Lisa Kelly, Emma Ruth Wells; Mr. Wells is survived by wife of 40 years, Linda Walsh Wells of Smithfield; Sons, Eddie Wells and wife Jessica of Wilson Mills, William Wells Jr., and wife Jermia of Four Oaks; Sister, Mamie Lee of Selma; Grandchildren, Dalton Wells, Wade Wells, Tyler Wells, Riley Wells, Jaxon Wells. No services are planned at this time for Mr. Wells.
