Princeton – William "Lil' Billy" Levi McClung, age 21, passed away on July 21, 2024 following an automobile accident. Born, May 6, 2003, in Johnston County, he was a son of Shane McClung and Tina Pfeffer McClung. Lil' Billy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William "Billy" and Judy McClung. Lil' Billy enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. Lil' Billy was a weapons enthusiast and a member of the National Rifle Association. He will be missed by his loyal K9 companion of nine years, Roxxie.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. in the McClung Family Cemetery in Pine Level. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at Parrish Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors at Hunter McClung's house, 1564 Braswell Rd. Smithfield, at other times.

He is survived by his parents, Shane McClung of Smithfield and Tina Pfeffer McClung (Dee Freeman) of Princeton; brothers; Hunter McClung (Michelle) of Brogden and Wyatt Austin McClung of Princeton; nephew, Jesse McClung; maternal grandparents, Gaye & Phil Brown; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
