Princeton – William "Boone" Holland, age 4, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Born on May 8, 2021, in Wake County, Boone was the beloved son of William and Madison Holland.

Boone was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He brought joy through the little things he loved—firetrucks, Bojangles mashed potatoes, bubbles, swimming, roughhousing, riding on the lawnmower, and his favorite treat on Mondays, chocolate chip pizza. His smile and laughter were contagious, filling hearts with happiness.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Teresa and Tony Quayle, Donald Crumpler, Larry Holland Sr., and Thurman Pilkington, as well as his great-uncle, Dean Pilkington.

Boone is lovingly survived by his grandparents, Melodie and Larry Isaacs, Crystal and John Pilkington, and Larry Holland of Zebulon; great-grandmothers Ellen Crumpler (Albert) and Patricia Holland; and by his aunts and uncles, Katelyne Holland (CJ Edwards), Caitlin Valdez (Martin Valdez), Cameron Isaacs, Elizabeth Pilkington (Thomas), and Patrick Pilkington. He is also survived by many cousins who adored him: Kailey Sutton, Wyatt Bourque, Emersyn Jones, Paisley Carpenter, Juliana Valdez, Antonio Valdez, River Edwards, Hunter Edwards, Jackson Edwards, and Kolter Edwards; as well as many other special aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home. In celebration of Boone's bright and joyful spirit, the family kindly requests that attendees wear bright colors. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel at Parrish Funeral Home, with burial to follow at 214 Evans Road, Princeton.

Though his time with us was brief, Boone's life was filled with love and laughter. He will be cherished and remembered always.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pine Level Elementary School, Abil-OT, Wake Med Raleigh, and UNC.
