Smithfield- Wallace Reid Renfrow, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Born November 24, 1948 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Robie and Doris Peacock Renfrow. Wallace was a member of Praise Sanctuary church in Princeton where he served as associate pastor for over 12 years. He was a very dedicated church member who loved his church family and the Lord. He enjoyed his work and was always trying to help people. Wallace was a very compassionate man who cared for everyone. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. If you knew him, you loved him.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy Renfrow of Smithfield; daughter, Angela Watkins and husband Gregg of Clayton; son, Wallace Renfrow Jr. and wife Sasha of Archer Lodge; step-son, Trae Blanton and wife Katherine of Fuquay Varina; step-daughter April Hewitt of Hickory; brothers, Nelson Renfrow and wife Maryann of Kenly and Robbie Renfrow and wife Tamra of Eureka; sister, Doris Melinda Wall and husband Chris of Wilson; and grandchildren, Austin Renfrow, Jessica W. Ashley and husband Ryan, Garrett Watkins, Alex Blanton, Anna Blanton, Madison Norket, and Will Norket.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral home. Burial will follow in New Jerusalem FWB Church Cemetery in Kenly, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service.
