Vincent Paul Pavone

Vincent Paul Pavone, age 54, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Vinny was born on March 19 on Long Island, and he was the third of four children born to Cosmo and Adelaide (Addie) Pavone. Vinny was a proud and loving husband to his wife, Angela, and children Madelyn (Maddie) and Daniel, as well as his stepchildren Bridget and Patrick. Vinny loved living on the farm and taking care of his animals. He took particular pride in his baby goats as well as the horses and his beloved dog, Luna.

Despite living for almost 30 years in the south, Vinny never quite got the country music bug, and he remained steadfast in his love for heavy metal rock music. Another of his interests was Star Wars, which was a passion that he imparted to his children. Finally, he was fiercely loyal to his New York sports teams (except basketball, where he rooted for the Lakers because he liked their uniforms), and he closely followed the Mets, Jets, and Islanders.

Vinny loved expressing his passions with body art, which he proudly displayed, each tattoo representing something important to him.

After many years of wandering, he finally found peace with Angela, the kids, the animals, and a good cigar. He found joy in coming home and cooking for the family, especially food from his Italian roots. He would often call his sister for some recipes from Mom’s cookbook. He enjoyed travel and was very excited to finally go to Italy for the first time. This was also where he married his beloved Angela.

Vincent is survived by his wife Angela, his daughter Madelyn, his son Daniel, stepchildren Bridget Lee and Patrick Lee; his sister Nicolette Liberto (Robert), brothers John Pavone (Pamela) and Joseph Pavone (Barbara); many nieces and nephews, great niece and nephew, many cousins and aunts and uncles, and his beloved dog Luna.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the mass from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parish hall. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
