Vickie Dianne Durham, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in Wilson County, on October 13, 1956, she was a daughter to the late Lenwood Durham and Ruth Taylor.

Vickie was a member of Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church. She worked as a civil engineer and finished her career in North Carolina Homeland Security and Emergency Management which she was very proud of.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading, writing, and most of all, her grandchildren. Vickie was big on family and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Per Vickie's wishes, no formal services will be held.

She is survived by her loving life partner of 40 years, Leon Oliver; son, Thomas Oliver (Alexis); sister, Betty Murphy (Howard); grandchildren, Emma, Lilah, Maddison, Olivia, and Jett; niece, Catherine Murphy (Matthew), great niece Charlotte Hux, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
