Todd Franklin Dowd, age 62, passed away on Thursday, September 10 ,2026, in the Carolina East Medical Center of Newbern. Born, September 3, 1964, in Johnston County to Guy Edward Dowd and JoAnn Brinkley Dowd. He is preceded in death by his father, Guy Edward Dowd and by his brother, Guy Edward Dowd Jr. In his spare time Todd greatly enjoyed being outdoors, fishing or playing golf.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

In addition to his mother, JoAnn Dowd of Selma, Todd is survived by his wife, Crystal Fuller Dowd of Black Mountain and his brother, Mark Dowd of Kenly.
