Selma – Tina Godfrey Renfrow, age 79, passed away Monday May 17, 2021 in Wilmington, NC. She was born in Palatka, FL February 23, 1942 to the late Harry and Ola Godfrey. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by husband, Marvin Renfrow; several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Selma on Friday May 21, 2021 at 1 PM. The family will receive visitors at Branch Chapel on Friday from 12 PM to 1 PM. Mrs. Renfrow is survived by son, Ron Taylor of Wilson; daughters, Sherry Watkins of Smithfield, Kathy Walker and husband Hank of Wilmington, Tracy Fitzgerald of Pine Level; brother, Gilbert Godfrey and wife Ellen of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Opie Gunter of Interlachen, FL; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; special dog, Pippi. Mrs. Renfrow was a member at Branch Chapel Church in Selma and was involved with various activities with in the church including numerous bible studies. She loved to travel and retired from the State Department of Insurance as an auditor. Mrs. Renfrow was a graduate of Barton College and Campbell University where she obtained a masters in Business.
