Four Oaks – Susan Quinn Stewart, age 66, passed away Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. She was born in Wayne County on August 27, 1954 to the late Richard Edward Quinn and Tina Manning Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by step father, Bobby Johnson; husband, Garry Stewart; nephew, Eric Suggs.

A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday August 4 2021 at 2 PM with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at Parrish Funeral Home from 1 PM to 2 PM. Burial will follow the service in Hills of the Neuse Cemetery.

She is survived by sisters, Faith Denton of Wendell and Amy Quinn Rose and husband Randy of Brogden; brother, Dwight Quinn and wife Lynn of Smithfield; niece, Casey Massengill and husband Cameron of Four Oaks; nephew, Adam Stewart of Smithfield; great niece, Erica Hurst; great nephews, Emery and Holden Massengill; great great nephew, River Hurst; special friend, Sharron Vinson.

Mrs. Stewart retired from the North Carolina Department of Corrections after 30 years of faithful service. She attended Wilsons Mills Church of God when she was able.
