Smithfield – Stephen Earl Dail, age 62, passed away Monday February 10, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County December 30, 1957 to the late Jackie and Melba Little Dale. A grave side service will be conducted on Thursday February 13, 2020 at 2 PM in Selma Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home Wednesday February 12, 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Mr. Dail is survived by Sister, Evelyn Hughes and husband Brian of Brogden; Brother, Tommy Dale of Brogden; Uncle, Tony Futch; Nephews, Michael Dale and wife Wendy, Casey hughes; Niece, Ashley Hughes; Numerous cousins. Mr. Dail enjoyed putting puzzles together and talking on the phone with family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to Parrish Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
