Shirley Louise Crabtree Marlow, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Born on February 21, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Crabtree. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Marlow; son, Russell Andrews; sister, Ruth Freewell; and brothers, Robert Crabtree and Cory Crabtree.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Crocker Cemetery in Selma, NC.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Rachel Kay Johnson; granddaughter, Susan Renee Gilbert; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as her stepsons, Nelson Gilmore and James Gilmore, Jr.

She will be remembered with love and missed dearly by all who knew her.
