Salvatore Charles Faraci, 78, of Smithfield, passed away December 12, 2024, at UNC Johnston Health after a brief illness. Born May 17, 1946, he was the son of the late Charles and Bessie Faraci. In addition to his parents, Salvatore was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Faraci.

Salvatore was an avid car enthusiast. When he wasn't working at the car dealership, he could be found attending car shows or browsing local car lots. Cars were his passion, and he integrated them into his professional and personal life.

Salvatore is survived by his loving wife, Jane Faraci; stepson, Bradley Ainge; brothers, Victor Faraci and James Faraci (Joann); brother-in-law, Robert Corzine (Nancy); and a very special family friend, Alexis Shaver.

A memorial service to honor Salvatore will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S Pollock Street in Selma. Flowers are appreciated.
